Who I am
Ra·san /RUSS-ann/
First things first: it's pronounced RUSS-ann. Like Russ, with an "ann" on the end. Easy, right? And yes, Loray is my middle name (the same Loray in Rasan Loray Content Co.). It's a family hand-me-down, and way easier to say. Want the story behind my first name? Just ask. I'll be glad to tell you.
I've been called all of these and then some. Raisin is my personal favorite. I'm not a dried grape, but I'll still answer. And back in my hometown? I'm widely known as Rosie, and that one's totally legit.
Now that we've cleared that up: I'm just a girl from a small town in Ohio who loves her '80s hair metal, hard rock, and many genres of metal that exist today.
After more than 20 years in the corporate healthcare world, I walked away to focus on my creativity and my passion for supporting hard rock and metal artists.
And while I'm becoming well known for my shows, my real goal is to build up artists and brands in the music business. I do that by growing the audience around their brand through my social media and marketing services. Rasan Loray Content Co. encompasses all of the above.
My work is focused on creating solid and relatable content systems, hosting the She Shreds with Rasan podcast, and She Shreds with Rasan Radio. My network includes musicians, podcasters, venue owners, PR agencies, and managers (just to name a few). I also love helping people who are thinking about starting a podcast or just launched one. I learned a lot of this through trial and error, and I believe in sharing what I've learned so others can expand on their own creativity without the guesswork.
I am very fortunate to do what I am passionate about and to continue growing as a multi-faceted, female-owned business in the music industry.
By the way, if I come across your content and it is a dumpster fire of s***, you can expect that I will reach out to you because I care about what you have built. I help you turn ideas into videos, posts, and content that keeps your fans and clients returning for more.
